Cream For The Soul

     Coming soon

Most of the orchestral arrangements were recorded in Riga Latvia in 2007.

The album is a real credit to Simon's ability as an arranger, a singer and a musician. In addition to arranging and conducting all the parts and singing, Simon plays: all the bass guitar parts; all guitars acoustic and electric; all piano and keyboards parts; harmonica (blues harp); played and programmed all the drum parts; some percussion instruments; did his own backing vocal parts. For the female backing vocal parts, Simon invited some Latvian artists to join with him.

Many of the vocal takes were recorded in Greece on the Island of Syros in a beach house was made available to him by an anonymous patron of the arts.

The saxophone solo in "How Insensitive" was recorded on the Spanish Island (Canaries) Fuerteventura. The album defies all that is regarded as orthodox in the recording industry. Many parts were recorded in hotel rooms across Europe, the Caribbean and Australia whilst touring. It is mostly an album of covers.

The Simon York Conspiracy

The classic look and sound of this band will never go out of fashion. High class musicianship combined with finesse and passion; obvious in every piece this band performs.
